Turner's Point [1931-2007]



Music legends die all the time, we just don't always notice. Ike Turner's passing is quite a loss. But the amount of soul poured into his music assures that he'll surely live on forever in the ears of many. Rest in peace dude.

Thanks, K. I spend some time on a non-music board where he was getting completely trashed, as if his demons nullified his fantastic musical contributions. Thankfully some folks can still separate the 2.

That piano tune is definitely used in some old school rap, can't remember if it was A Tribe Called Quest or NWA.
