Yes, it was quite tasty.
I've been in Japan for almost two weeks now. I've checked out Tokyo (Harajuku, Yoyogi, Akihabara, Ometsando, Asakusa, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Tsujiki, Mitaka, Roppongi), Kamakura, Kyoto & Osaka. It's been an incredible journey. Tomorrow I leave for Hawaii for a few days of sleeping in the sand before diving back into the hustle of my day-to-day in New York City.
But, there are a few things I'd like to share while I'm still out there. First, you can view my entire trip-image collection on Flickr, here.
Second, I took this video in Shinjuku last night of this store employee rapping on the street - he was going non-stop!
Finally - no trip abroad would be complete without a nice gouging at the local record shop. I told myself that I absolutely had to hunt down the first Nujabes album Metaphorical Music. After some digging, I finally found it - alongside the new Hydeout Productions (Nujabes' label) release - Hydeout Productions - 2nd Collection. It's far better than the first collection. Much more like an entirely new Nujabes album - complete with appearances by Pase Rock, Substantial, Five Deez and C.L. Smooth. My favorite track at the moment, which has been my Japanese-trip-theme since I picked up this disc a week ago, is Fly By Night, featuring Five Deez. Give it a listen - the entire disc is very, very good.

I also picked up both Hifana albums and Dotstream (bit generations) which is never going to come out of my Gameboy Micro. Japan has such great style - the food, the women, the architecture, the temples, the entertainment and never-late train system. What a fantastic place. I am definately ready to come home though. See ya soon.
Stay tuned.

p.s. - I really need a burrito.
